Taking all these facts into consideration\, an Inter House Poem Recitation Competition is hosted in the month of July for classes 3 to 5.\nElocution- Elocution refers to one’s capacity of communicating with others\, with\nthe use of exact speech and gestures.  We are always working  on the communication\, diction and general speaking skills of the children. To  provide a platform to the budding orators of our school\, we organize an Inter house  Elocution Competition. Students are  judged on the basis of clarity of speech\, memory\, pronunciation\, expression and body language. The objective of this activity is to make the children more expressive\, confident and spontaneous in their way of speaking.\n\nDeclamation: Declamation  originally defined as to cry out your emotions\, has got its definition altered over the years. Declamation\, derived from the Latin word ‘declaim’ means to speak in a rhetorical manner with a feel. This feel is to convey a social message with clarity\, emotion and persuasiveness.
